By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our Service.

2. Description of Service

QR Code API provides:

• A REST API for generating QR codes
• Dynamic QR codes with editable destinations
• Scan analytics for dynamic links
• A dashboard for managing your account

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate QR codes linking to illegal content
• Distribute malware or phishing links
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
• Use automated systems to scrape or extract data

5. Rate Limits & Fair Use

• Each plan has specified usage limits
• Exceeding limits may result in temporary restrictions
• Repeated violations may result in account termination
• We reserve the right to throttle requests that impact service quality

6. Billing & Refunds

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the billing period ends
• We don't provide refunds for partial months
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

7. API Keys

• API keys are confidential; don't share them publicly
• You are responsible for all activity under your API key
• Regenerate keys immediately if you suspect compromise

8. Intellectual Property

• We retain all rights to the Service and its underlying technology
• You retain ownership of content you encode in QR codes
• QR codes generated are yours to use without attribution

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements
• The accuracy of scan analytics

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
